There are a lot more choices. Logitech MX Ergo wireless trackball mouse. Now I mostly use the palm of my hand or multiple fingers to move the cursor. I have had a lot of trackballs over the years, and this is one of the best that I have seen. If you don't need a wrist rest for medical reasons, I doubt that anyone would use it for aesthetic reasons. I'm on the computer all day and do everything i can to make my day run smoother.

Nothing more, and nothing less. I find it easier and more natural to use, and more precise to control, especially when I am trying to move it very small distances. I would rather have the wireless just because I am trying to be wire free.

I had one of these years ago and the ball was lighter. But it worked extremely well. The Kensington Expert Mouse does have both horizontal and vertical scrolling. I never regretted it and even after extreme long usage they still last. If you want to use it left-handed, the button assignment can be reversed using the Mouse Settings control of whatever desktop you are using. Plus, the trackball is easier on my hands and wrist than a traditional mouse.

I will still recommend, but with noted issues It has a scroll ring, but it is touch-sensitive rather than mechanical as this one is.

The way that it attaches, and the fit against the main body of the trackball is sub-optimal, though. Please check your local sales tax laws.
